Ending the Summer with a Boom! (ATC, Rain, Jonathan, Sandra)

It was camp prom night, and Alyssa was excited- she had been helping plan some things for it with the Aphrodite, Apollo, & Hecate cabin and was happy to go. She had been looking forward to this moment for a while now, and her heart did a flip when she thought about the idea of going to Camp Prom with Tyler. 
But dear gods, he apparently took longer to get ready than she did- she had been waiting for him for a while, and even she had been taking quite a while to get ready. 
Probably just a minor hair gel mishap...right? She figured, clutching her hand tightly. She knew for a fact that guy wore a lot of hair gel. 
That evening, she wore a long dark red dress with lace around the chest and silk wrapped around the rest of her body, to finish past her feet and behind her. She wore black heels that weren't super high and were comfortable enough.
She was walking over to Tyler's cabin now, so distracted that she didn't notice she had bumped into someone until she fell down wearing the shoes she was. 
Looking over, she saw it was Eliza Harriet- a really sweet girl she didn't know too well but had seen around camp/talked to a bit.
"Oh! I'm sorry, excuse my clumsiness. You see, gravity and I don't have a great relationship. I'm alright. " She smiled, standing up quickly and reaching down a hand to help the girl up.

I laughed a bit as the girl said her and gravity didn't mix to well. I her hand and hoisted myself up. I looked to see the girl wearing a dress. I quickly forgot all about putting my dress in my bag. I face palmed, then made sure her dress wasn't ruined. A guy shortly came over after we collided. I laughed at his comment before faking a scowl at the girl. I then smiled. I then wiped some dirt off of my shorts.

"I'm Eliza by the way! I love both of you guys attire! Suits you both well." I said as I messed with my braid. I loved having my hair in a braid. It was easy to fix up and I rock it with a sun hat. I let go off of my braid and let my hands rest on my bag straps.

I looked at the night sky and it seemed bland and blank. However, I had the perfect fix. "Now that you say it i'm here to beautify the night sky and I have the best idea". I checked my watch and I saw that I have an hour and a half to get it. So I said "So are you girls in....oh and before I forget the name's Jonathan"

Alyssa smiled, thinking about how the fireworks would top the night perfectly- like the cherry on a big, yummy sundae. Hot fudge, caramel, gummy bears, little pieces of chopped nuts, sprinkles-
Wait, why was Alyssa focusing on, like, food porn? Shouldn't she have been focusing on the whole fireworks idea?
"Fireworks-perfect! You guys have some of your own, right? I know that the Hephaestus cabin has a fireworks launcher, and in the shed nearby the forest has some old sparklers from Independence Day." She added, thinking about how she'd be able to get in to the shed.
Already her mind was racing with ideas and plans, her Athenian side showing through. Near in between the forest and the beach, they'd set up the launchers close enough to the Prom for a good viewing distance, yet far enough to where nobody would tamper with them or the fireworks wouldn't land and harm any campers. She had lots of questions, of course, with these ideas- even though there weren't any official plans that the three would set off fireworks together.
"What kind of fireworks are there? Do you have any locations in specific? At what angle would you say we'd have to lauch them in order for them to land in nearby mountains? Do we have the pink swirlies?"
She voiced her questions out loud on accident, her voice quick enough to where you could barely understand what she was saying. Like, "fireworklocaspecifanglanchordermountpinswirl?!?11?!?!?1!!?!"        

I sort of just looked at the two and smiled. Alyssa had been talking really fast. I can't tell what she said? I mean, I can talk fast but I can't understand fast talking. I was happy they liked the idea. I then thought of the question she asked before the blur of the question. My face fell.

"Well rose thorns!" I said. I watched as Jonathan ran to get something. I let out a loud 'Hmm'.

I thought for it for a minute or two/ Alyssa still trying to explain things really quickly. Then it hit me. No, it actually hit me. I had stumbled backwards and hit the ground. But I fell on a flower. I looked down at the crushed flower and saw it had made my shorts dye a bit. I smiled as I felt an idea.

"We could make our own! We can crush some flower petals or berries making color. Then we can do um... How do you make a firework? Gunpowder?" I asked as my idea faltered a bit.

My objective was simple, get the fireworks, get out, and get to the dance. However like most of my plans they usually never work past step one.
I continued on until I got to the edge of the forest. It was weird how the parts of the forest could look so different from each other but I shook of the thought and continued on.
I saw the chest sitting next to a nearby tree. The tree was old but it felt like it was alive or giving off some strange aura. The chest itself looked like something Hephaestus or at least something his children would make,complex and well thought out. When I went to touch the chest a arrow came out of nowhere. I said to myself "Guys I really don't have time for this so can I schedule your butt kicking next week". Then a squad of demigod charged at me with there weapons drawn.I smiled and said "Looks like my schedule cleared up".
